Annual Science & Engineering Fair

Since 2014, Pinnacle Academy has partnered with George Mason University to host the Annual Broadcom Masters Northern Virginia Elementary and Middle School Science & Engineering Fair (NVSE). Each year, hundreds of students in grades 1-8, from tens of schools from the NOVA region join us to showcase their work for the year. Winners of Division III of the competition are invited to the White House each year. Pinnacle Academy seeks to immerse students into a multicultural learning environment that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving. Pinnacle Academy’s curriculum includes a heavy STEAM emphasis and encourages students to think of learning material in context to real-world applications. We value the importance of science fairs as an important part of a student’s learning experience as they help to strengthen both research and communication skills.
